Create a Binge Bank

If you have just started posting stuff online. It's easy to get pulled into constantly checking the metrics. And then get disappointed because 700 impressions… 400… 200… Gah! That’s discouraging. It would seem like no one reads your content or watches your video.

Most of us are result driven, if we don’t see instant results it is difficult to keep going. So recently I started posting on LinkedIn and I had a mindset shift on this.

Each individual post is not getting a shit ton of views but I am creating a bank where If somebody ever said, “I am curious about this person I wanna learn more, what’s this person all about?”

You will scroll my feed for 30 minutes or an hour. And my impression in your mind would be way higher than it began with.

Remember, when you came across that underrated TV show and binge-watched the whole series because it was so good? And you couldn’t stop recommending it to your friends? That’s exactly what you should create — a library of content that is worth binge-reading or binge-watching.

The thing you are creating is not just for eyeballs. It is for hearts AND eyeballs. You want people to get immersed in your world, your perspectives. By the end, you want them thinking, "Damn! I love this person.”
