When you don't have enough leads, every lead that you get, you're scared to death. It becomes a ride or die situation for you.

The best sales calls happen when you are FINE if they don’t close. It’s their loss if they don’t close it instantly. It’s their loss if they don’t commit to whatever you are helping them commit to.

Every skill needs a fuck of lot of practice and sales is no different. You got to keep your pipeline filled so you can keep practicing. The moment you stop for more than 3 months, your skills get rusty and you will feel like you have to start all over again.

I learnt this from Chris Do:

If your closing rate is 80%, you’re charging too little.

When clients say yes to your price 3 times in a row. It’s time to amp up the pricing by 1.5-2x.

When you raise your rate and they keep saying no, there are two answers:

  1. Find another client (the best answer)
  2. Level up your skill so it means that you need to stretch to what you're charging

You can only get this level of feedback when you are doing a lot of sales calls. You have a full pipeline and you are not desperate.

Desperation kills deals faster than high prices.
